About The Foundation
The Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation was founded in 1960 by a group of concerned parents. The Toronto & District Chapter is one of 52 local branches across Canada and serves the areas in Greater Toronto, including York Region, and extending north to Parry Sound. Our Chapter was formed over 40 years ago and has been successfully run by an incredible group of dedicated volunteers, and a small team of professional staff.
Our Mission Statement
| • To maximize the funds raised within the Toronto & District Chapter’s geographical boundaries |
| • Take a leadership role in raising awareness through education and advocacy within the community |
| • Recognize and develop leadership amongst our volunteers |
| • Maintain a high quality of life for persons living with cystic fibrosis |
| • To continually communicate to families affected by cystic fibrosis in the Toronto & District area |
