Taking Great Strides™ Towards a Cure The Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation – Toronto & District Chapter’s annual Great Strides™ Walk is a fun filled day for the family, all in support of cystic fibrosis research and care. Last year’s GTA walk raised over $650,000! Nationally, the Great Strides™ Walk raised over $2.2 million, all of which goes towards finding a cure or effective control and providing critical care programs for those living with cystic fibrosis. The Great Strides™ Walk is a full day event full of activities. Striders walk a 2.5 km path around the Toronto Zoo, participating in fun activity stations and checking out the animals. A minimum donation of $25 get your admission to the zoo, a map, walk activities, a FREE lunch, and a special show by a surprise children’s guest. Donations can be made on pledge forms or online! And don’t forget to get your friends involved and start a team.
