In 2000, Gail Bancroft, Steve Bain and Shelley & Nigel Phipps never imagined that their Georgetown Dinner Dance would become the signature Georgetown event that it is today. The Dinner Dance was initially created to raise vital funds for cystic fibrosis research and care; a fatal lung disease that affected their children’s lives.
Today, attending the Georgetown Dinner Dance is like attempting to secure tickets to the Toronto Indy – everyone wants to go, but tickets are hard to come by and are sold out months in advance!
